I've been focused on getting all the measurements for these two guitars good to go before doing any cutting. So, it would appear progress is slow.
That being said...
I have a rough idea how I'm going to attach the bridge on the headless model, but I will do some experiments first, and then show the results. It's going to be "creative" to say the least.
Forgot to mention. I don't have pine or spruce for tops, so Cedar seems to the be the "default" option for tops. But, I might try something "wrong" for Brians guitar. Just because the last time I broke the rules it worked out so great.
