Alright peeps, as you cannot see, because you might be reading this not from snapie.io, as of today we are gamifying the gamification to the max. Actually... we're beginning the gamifery, I should say.
Yes.
That's the word now.
For a while I've been thinking that I needed a way to make posting on Snapie more fun. More rewarding. The truth is pretty simple: leaderboards and points accumulated through your actions just make sense. There's a reason Ecency has been doing it for so long, and so effectively.
So why fight against something we already know works?
These days I don't particularly enjoy punching myself in the face.
With all that said, I'm not planning to leave Snapie Points just sitting there looking pretty. In my estimation, there are quite a few things we can build on top of this system. Mini games. Challenges. Unlockables. Competitions. The sort of stuff that makes you come back because it's fun, not because you feel like you have to.
As a result, my HackMD files continue reproducing like guinea pigs.
Isn't that lovely?
Or should I say productive?
...reproductive?
That's probably a little too much.
For those of you wondering:
"How do I get them Snapie pointers, MenO? I wants them!"
It's real simple.
Use snapie.io.
Post. Comment. Explore. Interact. Be part of the community.
And, as the man with the funny mustache used to say:
Boom shakalaka!
Did he actually say that?
I think so.
Doesn't really matter.
The boom is in the shakalaka anyway.
As per usual, @jongolson is already showing everyone he's the real deal, but the battle for the top ranking has only just begun.
So...
Who are you waiting for?
Actually...
What are you waiting for?
It's ham sandwich and Kool Aid time.
