The team and I rebuilt 3speak from scratch basically. So, its not dead, not even close to it. Now if you are referencing Speak Network, that's a separate project that vaultec and disregardfiat worked on. Afaik theycallmedan finished it. He's made videos about it too, but he's not released it yet. (dunno why)

I hear your frustration regarding losing the tokens, but again, and I mean this sincerely, that lands squarely on Disregard's lap. He took his platform to SUI, demanded 300k to finish the work he had done on hive from the DHF.

Some people got used to the DHF being the cash cow, what can i say..
