Yes, believe it or not, milkshakes are important in the world of politics at the moment. Why? Well, because now it's completely OK to throw milkshakes at fascists intolerant bigots. I mean, What way to show you are fighting uncivilized idiots than acting like one yourself?
Somebody did mention that, and I quote "Milkshakes are way better than using actual violence", but I think the very definition of violence needs to be addressed. In my opinion, when you infringe upon my right to not have milkshake thrown at my head, you basically commited a violent act. Yes, it's not a bullet, it's not a baseball bat, but it's not benign either.
My opinion on the politicians and would be politicians who are getting attacked is irrelevant. That is to say, I may not be a fan of any of them, or love them, but the point stands. If you are fighting bigotry, you are literally hurting your argument.
One thing that did blow my mind a bit, was the fact that Burger King took it upon themselves to capitalize on the stupidity. Upon getting called out, they did "correct" their stance, but the point is, the move was a symptom of the larger problem we most definitely have.
Resorting to physical violence, is admitting defeat in the debates. Don't feed idiocy by partaking or encouraging this crap.
