I'm reading left and right that people are really scared of what's happening with the STEEM price today. Yes, it's true, we've slipped down even further on CMC. I'm not going to lie, I don't like this as much as the next guy, but I would lie if I said I'm surprised.

Keeping up with BTC

For context, or at least so that we get the whole picture in frame. Almost all the altcoins are struggling to keep up with BTC at this very second. Yes, there are some exceptions but again, they are the outliers. Truth is that this is how bullruns play out, and nothing new has happened.

If you are looking at CMC and you are envious of the green the other altcoins seem to have, you've probably not setup CMC to give you the the truth. Don't look at coins in USD, it's literally useless to do so, change it to BTC and look again.

Gut check

If you are seeing everything that's happening on STEEM and you've lost all faith, then I won't judge you for quitting. But, if you've been paying attention, if you've seen palnet, steem-engine, the recent updates and you get the long game, then welcome to the hodlers club.

I don't know who said it first, but It's my mantra these days: The secret of getting ahead in life, is not quitting. Yes, it's a cliche, but it's also very true.

As for what I'm going to do right now, in case you are wondering: buy more PAL. I think leveraging my STEEM that way is going to allow me to grow this account even more, and thus it's a no brainer at this point. As for the current price of STEEM, I don't care, not anymore. I'm not going to miss the forest for the trees.
