Letting go of grudges: the unknown tension between my cousin and I

I could feel it. It was like this negative energy coming from him. First, when they got to the house I greeted his mom and then him next but he didn't even reply to me, he didn't even look at me, not only that but he also talked to my siblings normally but didn't say a single word to me.
I was sitting in the parlor with my mom and my aunt who visited with her son Jerry watching TV as they both discussed. I wasn't paying attention to the details of what they talked about. I was not even steadily focused on the wildlife show that was showing, because I was wondering why Jerry snubbed and ignored me. I and Jerry were never really very close but at least we were not enemies.
After some time in the parlor, I moved to the bedroom where Jerry and my siblings were. They were talking when I got into the room, my sister was sitting on my brother's bed operating her phone, while my brother sat on the floor close to the bed talking with Jerry who was sitting on the study chair. Immediately I sat down to pitch in the discussion Jerry's mood changed, and his smile and laughter quickly changed to a straight face.
"I need to go and ask my mom about something before I forget," Jerry said as he stood up and left the room to the parlor.
I knew there was something wrong but I just couldn't place my hands on it. I didn't know if anyone noticed but I am a quiet and observant person so I was sure to notice the tension.
To find out if truly he left the room because I came in, I left to go to the parlor as if I wanted to get something. Not up to two minutes that I was pretending to search for something before he got up and went back into my brother's room where my sister and brother were.
Now I was sure about the tension and stayed in the parlor. My sister came out of the room and went out to buy snacks and I followed her.
As we walked along the street I decided to ask her if she noticed what I noticed, "Nora did you notice that Jerry seems to be keeping some kind of malice against me," I asked my sister.
"No, I didn't. Do you think he is?" she replied.
" I don't just think he is, I know he is," I answered her, and since she was both our senior—Jerry and I were age mates, I decided it was best if she asked him what it was all about.
"Well, when we return you can ask him if he has anything against me because I don't know what it is about,"
" Okay, I will, "
We bought the snacks and went back to the house, my sister went back to the room where the others were and I remained in the parlor. My mom asked me why I wasn't with the rest and I told her that I wanted to watch the show and didn't want to miss anyone.
Some hours later their stay was over and they said their goodbyes and left.
Then I went to my sister and asked her if she found out what it was about. She said she did and he told her that it was about the fight we had the previous year when we all met in the village during holidays with my other cousins. Then I remembered what was the problem all along, during the holidays of the previous year we fought about our phone chargers, we had the same chargers and when he lost his own he tried claiming mine. It caused a serious argument that led to altercations and a fight before it was later resolved by my uncle and I still got to keep my charger although he still believed it was his.
It was shocking and funny to me because the whole incident was water under the bridge for me while he still couldn't let it go.
Well later on he forgot about it and we became good again. It was just a little difference between us, I was the type who forgot about grudges easily, and he was the type who took more time to let go of a grudge.
