Evening fire.
Took advantage of the nice March weather in Michigan to enjoy an outdoor fire last night. Burned some pine logs that I had left from some large limbs we had removed a year ago. Nice and dry wood, burned

Shadow cat, lounging on slippers...

No luck, again!
Pack drop did not work in my favor, once again. 0/3 so far. Bummer! This time it was for a Cool Cats pack, which is a cheaper one. Still, would be nice to get to buy one of these one day. Will keep trying!

Spicy salsa!!!
Flavorful and spicy salsa! This stuff was well worth the buy. It is HOT. Not terribly hot, but hot enough to please the spice lovers out there. First time trying this brand and it was a hit. Will buy again!

Deep fried Tofu
We made our own deep fried tofu last night. Turned out great! Dried and pressed the tofu, then seasoned with a special spice mix and egg wash. Deep fried for a few minutes until golden brown, then serves

Sticks in a crate, decorating our Farmhouse!
Cut up some nice birch from outside our home and added it to an old Vernors pop crate. Looks pretty good as a decorative item by our fireplace! What do you think?

Did another climbing route this morning...but my legs were not happy. Usually I skip at least a day to recover before doing another ride. Hey, it’s good exercise though. Great way to start off the day!
