Took a bike ride to the "Pink Lake" today which was pretty amazing.
It's a salt lake near the Westgate Bridge in Melbourne which is normally a brown/green colour but turns pink with a mixture of high temperatures and lack of rainfall. In these conditions, algae that grow in the lake produce a beautiful pink pigment.
