Good day dear everyone in the Discovery-it Community 馃檶馃摳
Today鈥檚 post concerns the situation across much of Europe鈥攁 situation where, burdened by the hardships of life, corrupt governments, and a lack of care for healthcare, education, and the rule of law鈥攊n short, everything that makes a country well-ordered鈥攜oung people throughout the region are raising their voices in protest. Our neighbor, Serbia, has shown how this is done, and Croatia acknowledges this, regardless of the fact that we were once at war. Even back then, we were merely used to serve others' agendas. But today, we have our own independent countries; those were different times, and perhaps it is time to try to move past the past. We should strive for a better life for our youth鈥攏ot with weapons this time, but with our VOICES.
The cover photo of today鈥檚 post perhaps best illustrates the state of my city, of my country. We have truly become small鈥攁nd they are the ones who made us that way.
In the program, I intentionally applied a blur effect to a man carrying a wooden plank on his back, with two sacks of empty bottles hanging from it (which he intends to sell, perhaps to buy groceries for a modest lunch)鈥攂ecause life has become unclear and uncertain for us, unfortunately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
