Hello to all of my hive blog readers. May you always have a good day and receive all the goodness in life that you all deserves. What's up everybody?
This weeks are going to be extremely hectic for me, as I mentioned in my previous blog. However, despite being busy, I continue to write for my blog.
My daughter, my business partner, and I will travel to Kota Kinabalu today. In Kota Kinabalu, we'll meet a friend who will support us in the venture we'll launch the following year.
At the same time, we also had to go to a dinner function with professionals in the whole Sabah. I have the chance to connect with a variety of professionals and that's have given me chances to build a connection.
Our flight from Sandakan was at 11:10 a.m. but had to be delayed by a few minutes, probably due to the weather. But we safely reached our destination at noon.
Because of the delayed, we had breakfast at the airport while waiting for the call to board the plane. I had a chance to meet a nurse friend who is also my former school friend. I feel very happy when I can meet this friend of mine after almost 20 years without seeing her.
I am very thankful that the weather that morning in Sandakan was very good. I actually still feel panicked and nervous every time I get on a plane. I have prepared medication for my panic disorder in case it strikes.
When we arrived in Kota Kinabalu, we took Grab and went straight to our hotel. It looks like the weather in Kota Kinabalu is cloudy and it will definitely rain. I'm thankful that we made it safely before it rained heavily.
PROMENADE HOTEL, KOTA KINABALU, SABAH.
We checked in and waited for key collection as we had already booked this hotel. Here I am with the view of our hotel room, which has a very attractive sight.
After that, we continued to meet my friend at Oceanus Shopping Mall. We had to wade through the pouring rain to get there. We only have to walk for 5 minutes because this shopping mall is located in front of the hotel where we are staying.
PENYET PLACE, OCEANUS KOTA KINABALU, SABAH.
This is the main food in this shop. "Nasi Ayam Penyet" is really delicious, and the price is worth the quantity. One plate costs only RM15.++.
After lunch, we rushed back to the hotel, where I met my business partner in the lobby and we discussed the strategy we needed to implement.
Without realizing it, it was almost time for dinner. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. My daughter and I got ready quickly because the time showed 6 p.m.
JW MARRIOT HOTEL, KOTA KINABALU, SABAH
We only have to cross over because this hotel is located opposite our hotel. It is located next to the Oceanus shopping mall, where we went for lunch this afternoon.
The dishes prepared are very interesting. We were also entertained by a performance from a two-piece band, which is also a colleague of mine. We had time to take a picture because we haven't seen each other in almost 2 years since the pandemic happened.
I am very interested in the decoration of this hotel. And I had a chance to take some pictures. Likewise, the Christmas decorations at this hotel really caught my attention. It is very cheerful, with lights and colourful decorations.
We came home early from the dinner function because we were tired. I also managed to take pictures of the Christmas decorations in this hotel which my friends also performed in the lobby of this hotel.
I took a short break in the lobby while casually sitting, drinking hot chocolate and writing this blog.
I also managed to take a video of my friends performance. This is a Tagalog song that I love. titled "Luha," which means "tears." Sung by Filipino artist "The Aegis."
It looks like that's all the activities for today, and tomorrow there will be other activities for me and my daughter. This is the first time I am on vacation with my eldest. This can further strengthen my relationship with her, and I listen a lot to her wishes to continue studying.
I end my blog with all praise for the almighty for the opportunity he gave. All the sustenance he bestowed on me and my children. Believe me, if our intentions are good but people always mistreat us, there will be a time when we will be given all the happiness that comes without you realizing it. Believe that our sustenance will flow from the good intentions and sincerity of our souls in human relationships. Don't get used to living with lies because they won't last forever.
