By the look of things the Corona Virus is not going to rest anytime soon in Nigeria as many persons are still left without a test to know what state they are in.
We will continue to stay indoors until this is over and no more cases are reported in Nigeria anymore. There's tension everywhere and people are not resting until they return to thier normal lives. There's going to be a break on may 4th for people to go out which I feel it's not a wise decision by the government of Nigeria. People will meet themselves and do that which they have missed for a long time including touching which is certain.
What we need at this point is not a break but food. The government is not helping families during this period. Some banks are laying off 30% of their workers and 70% reduction in thier workers salary. I heard that few days after having a little chat with my friend about banks and loans and laying off workers.
Who is benefiting from the Lockdown?
Do you know that some families are benefiting more during this Lockdown? There's a man who left his family for three years and they never saw him but spoke with him on phone and he sent whatever support they needed but never had family time with his wife and children. He came home when the first case of Corona was reported in Lagos and right now his still with them waiting that it ends so he can go back. His children and wife are really happy to have him around and wish he doesn't go back anytime soon.
Many families especially dads who didn't have time are with thier families now more than ever.
