These photos were taken in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest which extends from north central Colorado to central Wyoming.
I didn't want to let the day go past without posting a mountain photo! This little mountain lake was icy cold even on a hot summer day.
I'm dog sitting for my friends German Shepherd for 10 days while they go on vacation to this area. My friend and her two children have never seen the mountains before. Her husband lived out there for a while and he can't wait to show them around.
