The Catholic Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, at Holy Hill is located on highest elevation in Southeastern Wisconsin, USA
It is especially beautiful in the autumn. We drove to the top of the hill to watch the sunset and take a few photos.
Everything was illuminated with the golden glow of the setting sun. It was the perfect time to visit.
It has been a place of worship and healing since the mid 1800's and the present church was completed and consecrated in 1931.
It was the first time I had been up there, and even though it was closed, I was glad we took the time to visit.
