I love every single one of the posts that are entered into the #featheredfriends community! Thanks to all of you for being such great community members!
To help #featheredfriends grow even more take a few minutes to comment and vote on the other community posts! I hope to have a way soon, with a bot that is being developed for us, to count the number of comments made in the community and offer participation prizes.
I have seen several seagulls photos this week in #FeatheredFriends and thought I would add a few more.
These seagulls are sitting atop Purple Martin houses
Purple Martins live in colonies near the water. They feed in midair, catching insects such as dragonflies. This Purple Martin photo was taken from the Cornell Labs site.
PHOTO from All About Birds I seldom post photos that I have not taken myself, but I didn't have one of a Purple Martin and wanted to show who lives in those multi story houses.
