In February I pay my portion for the year for an Every-other-week share, 12 boxes, $396. $33 per box of fresh locally grown organic vegetables grown by people who live down the road that I know and trust. The quality is always exceptional.
This week's box contained strawberries, Caraflex cabbage, sugar snap peas, Romaine lettuce, zucchini & summer squash, kohlrabi, fennel with fronds, garlic scapes, cilantro, and basil. And one beautiful sunflower!
Strawberries are their riskiest crop because they are so easily damaged by the weather. It’s been wet this year but the thick straw mulch they put down saved the berries.
