Visiting my favorite local museum at Christmas time to see their tree display is a great way to get in the Christmas spirit!

Festively decorated trees of all shapes and sizes transform the Lincoln-Tallman House into an elegant wonderland this holiday season. The Rock County Historical Society's annual Holiday Tree Show features a sparkling collection of trees creatively decorated by local businesses, nonprofits, individuals, and families. Visitors of all ages can wander through the beautifully adorned Italianate mansion adorned with more than 100 trees on the main and upstairs levels. The show includes a scavenger hunt and holiday activity booklets for extra fun for younger visitors.
Visitors may continue the fun by strolling to the Tallman Carriage House to enjoy a beverage and stop for a selfie with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Trees are sponsored by:
Nonprofits: Groups like Friends of Noah (animal rescue) frequently sponsor and decorate trees.
Local Businesses: Companies across Rock County sponsor trees to highlight their services.
Families & Individuals: Many residents sponsor trees to honor family members or simply to support the Historical Society
The tree display is a huge community effort
