Community Christmas trees

Visiting my favorite local museum at Christmas time to see their tree display is a great way to get in the Christmas spirit!

Festively decorated trees of all shapes and sizes transform the Lincoln-Tallman House into an elegant wonderland this holiday season. The Rock County Historical Society's annual Holiday Tree Show features a sparkling collection of trees creatively decorated by local businesses, nonprofits, individuals, and families. Visitors of all ages can wander through the beautifully adorned Italianate mansion adorned with more than 100 trees on the main and upstairs levels. The show includes a scavenger hunt and holiday activity booklets for extra fun for younger visitors.
Visitors may continue the fun by strolling to the Tallman Carriage House to enjoy a beverage and stop for a selfie with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

This tree is sponsored by Republican legislator Paul Ryan and his wife Janna. Ryan served as Speaker of the House in the US Congess from 2015-2019.
