Beautifully Sublime

It is time again for a Sunday post for #BeautifulSunday by @ace108 and #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a!

I found some lovely autumn color during a drive through Big Hill Park south of town. The maple trees had all turned my favorite color!

It was a shady sea of sunshiney yellow!

It is not a real creative name, but there is a Big Hill in the park! It is no longer there, but in 1911 a ski jump was built on the bluff above the river. My photo of the sign in the park telling the history of the ski jump.
The forest has grown back on the bluff where the ski jump used to be.

I found a boulder for @shasta for #BoulderSunday, too! I thought it looked rather like a big tortoise shell sitting in the woods.
