Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

Good morning, and I hope your weekend is going well. For these themes today, I am sharing a few sunrise shots, and yes, I know I do that perhaps far to often, but those are usually mostly sunrise over the water so going to try and mix it up this week
So let me start with some sunrise colors I saw while looking down Pleasant Street here in New Bedford, MA.
Now often I see people parked with their car facing towards the sunrise to catch the sunrise colors. Now, that is a nice way to start the day for sure, but often at sunrise and sunset, for that matter- not that I have been out for sunset photos for a long while- the colors can come in other directions.
Such as this photo: some nice sunrise colors at the end of the street, however, the rising sun was actually off to my left as I took this photo

Now I didn't say there would be no sunrise over the water photos, this one is the most recent one, and I was lucky enough to see some wonderful color this morning when I visited the port.

This is the "Melville and Jonah's Journey" statue honoring Moby-Dick author Herman Melville in New Bedford, sculpted by New York-based artist Stefanie Rocknak. A fairly recently installed art piece that I think is awesome
And this is another case where there are nice, warm sunrise colors, and yet the sun had risen behind me as I took this

ON Fort Taber Beach here in New Bedford, luckily, now that the sunrise is later, they open the gates before sunrise, so I have been able to visit there a couple of times recently

This is The Hiker bronze statue located in Clasky Common Park Created by American artist Theo Alice Ruggles Kitson.
It is of a foot soldier, commonly called a "hiker," wearing a campaign hat and holding a rifle.
The statue honors the military men who served in the Spanish-American War, the Philippine Insurrection, and the China Relief Expedition
