I am loving the Lenovo digital picture frame that my Chicago kids got me a few weeks ago for my birthday! I have finally got it set up the way I like it and I am seeing photos that I have not seen in a long time.
Today I was reminded that on this day in 2015 we were at the 1880s tourist town in South Dakota. That trip out West was one of the last road trips that Jim and I took together before he died and these photos have special memories for me. Not to mention the fact that I took thousands of photos that day. Everywhere I turned there was another photo opportunity!
Like this old stage coach...
Or this shot of the old barber shop that offered baths!
This is the jail.
And one of the churches.
An old barn and windmill to pump water for the livestock.
The blacksmiths shop with a hitching post out front.
And an old handpump beside the house for drinking and household needs.
These morning glories looked well watered, but I think the plants in the urn had been neglected!
Thanks for wandering through the past with me
Happy Thursday!
