A quick glance around the yard.

With October looming just over the horizon, many of the plants seem to be enjoying the cooler weather. These oxalis are blooming profusely right now.

The zinnias are blooming beautifully.

But I'm trying to ignore the signs of fall, like these Mayapple leaves that are looking pretty battered!

And the leaves that are just beginning to fall off the lilac bush.

I'm trying hard to hold onto summer!
