Ruhe in Frieden, in Liebe Melanie 💕🎚🕯-
Dear Granny, another year has passed. Now it is two years without you, but in our thoughts we are always with you. No day goes by without us thinking about you and remembering you. The beautiful moments we experienced with you. It seems like yesterday, when I was a little girl, always on Sundays, walking by the hand of yours towards the church. There are so many beautiful childhood memories that I owe to you all. The common music on the piano, the evening strolls to catch snails in the garden, the bike ride through the Munich parks and our games afternoons with Scrabble, Memory and city-country-river. I especially miss your homemade apple strudel, our conversations about God and the world, your voice and your laughter. I admire your diligence, your strength and your satisfaction until today. We often cycled to the cemetery to look after Grandfather's grave and now I have to get used to the fact that you too are resting here. A few memorabilia have found their way to our home. We will honor your piano as a keepsake. I'm so thankful for our time together. Your everyday life was our childhood. So you have taught me values that I am allowed to pass on to your great-grandchildren today as a mom. Helena and Selina especially love our evening prayer "Tired I'm going to rest". More and more I see how positively you have shaped my soul and wish that I can whisper you that again in your ear personally. Rest In Peace, love Melanie . 💕
