To protect Liberty in America we must regulate companies like Facebook

But now it's no secret that big social media companies like Facebook engage in political censorship.. We have countless
studies
and
evidence..
and
Undercover videos and
admissions.. proving it.. We have
whistleblowers
at the company's coming forward admitting exactly that

Facebook is one of the world's largest social media companies. With 2.2 billion active users on their site. More than the entire population of the United States of America..

the communist millennial employees at facebook need to realize that their personal political opinions are NOT fact

and they can't use the world's largest social media network to force their political beliefs on others

if they can't realize that then it's up to us (and our elected representatives) to do something about it and forcibly STOP the communist millennials working at facebook from using the world's largest corporation to push their personal political opinions on the rest of the world

the site needs to be regulated as a common carrier (like the telephone companies) or as a public utility (as conservative supreme court justice clarence thomas suggested)

There's an argument for both cases.. Social media's functions a lot like a telephone company at this point.. It's how billions of people worldwide connect with and communicate with each other. Just like a telephone company. That's what politicians use to spread their message to their voters and to ask for fundraising. Just like a telephone company.. And you wouldn't let a telephone company restrict what you're allowed to say on their networks.. That would be a terrible infringement on Free Speech..

You wouldn't let a telephone company ban a certain politician from using their services during an election year in order to influence the election? You wouldn't let them shut off the phone call in the middle of it because they didn't like what two people were talking about? That would be terrible.. And so we put regulations on them as common carriers that they have to serve EVERYBODY equally

There's also an argument for clarence thomas suggestion that they should be turned into a public utility.. It's what Obama tried to do to Comcast when he was arguing that they were engaging in censorship.. He was wrong. They weren't engaging in censorship. But if they were it would have a perfect way to stop them..

You wouldn't put up with the water company shutting off your water because they didn't like your political opinions?

We wouldn't allow the electric company to shut off your power because they didn't like something you said?

Or the heating Energy company to turn off your heat in the middle of the winter because they were angry at you for supporting a political candidate they didn't like

Those are all dangerous infringement on your free speech and your Liberty.. Basically being forced to do what these companies say or they will silence and harm you..

And it destroys our democracy. It's very dangerous to our democracy if large corporations can basically choose who's the president.

If they can prevent you from talking openly about political topics that means they can basically influence the election and there's no more people's democracy.

The president is now officially chosen by big Corporations

It's not even a talking point like when they say that big money is influencing politicians. It's direct corporations choosing the president..

And not just the president.. It also destroys our free legal system. A free and fair country based on freedom and liberty realize on an equal and impartial legal system to remain a free country.. You don't live in a free country if you can be arrested by the ruling party for disagreeing with them..

But what happens when big companies like media outlets and social media companies can Stoke outrage and use censorship and fake news to influence public opinion and pressure jurors to rule in a certain way? Suddenly you're not being tried by a jury of your peers. You're suddenly being tried by a jury of your political enemies and corporations.. You're free and fair legal system is destroyed as well.

Basically a big Corporation can decide whether you go to jail or not

And you don't even want to think about what might happen if they partner up with the private prison industry and abused that to put lots of people in private prisons for profit..

Basically the very concept of freedom and liberty and a free country relies on the idea that big corporations and media Outlets cannot influence elections and trials and other important basis of freedom

So some might argue that regulating Facebook is a "restriction of their Liberty* (it's not)). I say even if it was it wouldn't fucking matter. I would much rather restrict Facebook's Liberty so that everyone else can have freedom then let Facebook loose like a lion to do whatever they want and destroy the concept of freedom and liberty in our country

It's time to listen to the people that know what they're talking about like Clarence Thomas Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson. Among many many others.. It's time to regulate social media so that they can't engage in political censorship.. They are a company if there ever was one that should absolutely NOT be allowed to "do whatever they want""
