well if conservatives weren't conservative they could focus on regulating the media for lying like democrats did
democrat ideology is just objectively more effective at solving problems because a key tenet of conservatism is clinging to the past and opposing solutions
Take regulation on the media for example.. It's proven to work and would have objectively solved the problem..
Democrats had no problem implementing it. They implemented it perfected it and used it to their advantage without any problems whatsoever.
But conservatives being Conservatives means that they have to shoot themselves in the foot. They can never support solutions that might fix things because that would require fixing things
they can't bring themselves to use the government for good
Democrats dont suffer from such handicap

Meaning you don't have to drive the country over a cliff and kill the country in some religious Devotion to the Constitution. And similarly I could say the same thing about conservatism. Conservatism should not be a suicide pact. You don't have to kill your entire ideology and all of your electoral Chances with some religious Pro clutch and Devotion to made-up conservative principles.
And what are those principles?. Something that didn't exist until some dude made them up sometime. Why do you have to religiously adhere to them as if they're a universal law?
If they're not working then change them. The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over hoping for a different result. Are conservatives insane? Its sting you're proposing and the religious ideology you're following isn't working then try something else. Nobody said you HAVE to do the same thing over and over
Why you have to follow THOSE conservative principles? Why not follow a DIFFERENT set of conservative principles? Why not create an entirely NEW set of principles that you can follow? Why does it have to be those hundred-year-old principles?

The Democrats have no problem involuting regulations on media Outlets be said for lying. And it worked out great for them.. The conservatives could stop shooting themselves in the foot with the gun of conservatism they might be able to do the same thing and it would work out great for them too.. but You can't.

And I think that's part of the problem. People that are scared of change. It's not that conservatism Tourette the opposes change or their conservatism is incapable of doing these things it's at the people who are incapable of doing these things are attracted to conservatism.. Conservatism seems weak because weak people are attracted to it. Conservatism could be strong if it's adhersnts and super strong people. But it's adhersnts are weak people. Lazy people. Scared people..
Conservatives will never go for it simply because they're conservatives. Even though ever work and even though it would make the country a better place they will never support it.
