So every year our school has an inter house athletic day and for those who don't know me, I'm not much of an athlete. But hey, ad least I have school spirit! So I decided to participate. First I did high jump witch was a total bust! (I felt retarded ) but nothing could get me down! My next event was the 1500 m (1,5 km) running, that is three and a half times around the feild. After the third lap I felt like I couldn't go any further, my legs couldn't handle it. My friends were scattered around the feild and some would cheer as I ran past to encourage me but when three of my friends saw I needed more than cheering they did something that gave me more motivation to finnish. They ran along side the feild the jn the last lap and helped me finish. It meant the world to me that they put their items on hold just to help me finish. I ended up dead last but I ended with pride!
These are true friends!!
And to get some more school spirit we decided to paint on our class numbers on our arms
Witch was a horrible idea! We forgot that being in the sun means you have to put on sun screen so that you don't burn. Logic right? Well we didn't think straight. Needless to say I still have a lighty tanned "9 C" on my left upper arm
For some people getting embarrassed feels like the end of the word, but you know what? It's part of life! It happens to everyone some or other time. I get embarrassed daily but I make the best of it and I make sure that dumb things that people may think is considered weird not influenced my life or my happiness and people will respect you for that.
Wow, I just turned a funny story into a life lesson... who knew I was capable?
