Steem Schools Ultimate Challenge: Steemit a new opportunity....
The less you're right, the less I've managed in the last few years. I've always liked computers and the Internet in general and I even had about 2 years that I was running a news blog for the church youth group that I attended and I liked a lot. Although I was the first of my friends to have facebook (for example) but I wasn't the type of person who talked to everyone, I commented on a few things but even then, even in the MSN Messenger era (if I'm a bit old, I'm 34).
Although I like computer science I studied chemistry, I graduated as a superior technician in chemical processes although I was never able to practice because in the city where I live the companies in the labor field to practice my profession are politicized and to be able to apply for a position in some company in the state or related to it have to, or belonging to his political party or not being on his blacklist of opponents and although I never got into politics if I signed a referendum to revoke the mandate of Hugo Chavez and neither did I have any friends or acquaintances to help me as we call him "crowbar" to get a job in my career, even though I spent about 6 months without a job then I was working as a manager in a store and a few months I got married.
I had several jobs but they all paid very little and I needed to earn more because I was a breadwinner, and I knew that I could opt for more but I could not get a job in my profession, I went through several more jobs but usually lasted years in a position, had good performance and good working relationships but earned very little.
I was always struck by some things I read about people who made money on the Internet but the ones I got were very closed and all the information was kept secret from them, but I was always looking for someone to guide me through them.
After 6 years of marriage due to the same economic problems, my partner separated from me and a few months later, due to a reduction in my staff, I was also unemployed. That's how I started wandering around looking for a job, sometimes doing jobs like computer repairs, but that was very sporadic and the economic conditions in my country (Venezuela) were getting worse and worse, and the money was giving me very little, I spent part of my time researching how to make money on the Internet and I tried and got some pages, I gained something but not enough to be a minimum help and much less make a living from it, so I spent 2 years and I lost 25 kilograms of weight, I ate once or twice a day and almost always one of those meals was given to me by my mother at home, I lived alone, in the same city but in a remote area.
In August 2017 I read about steemit and I found the project interesting, especially because I could take up again the idea of making a blog that I had liked so much years ago, I signed up but at that moment I was working with another page that was giving me some dividends and I concentrated on that page, and in the meantime, as a chemist I made liquid soap from used edible oil, I was a door-to-door salesman of various products and repaired computers from time to time. I couldn't get more out of that page because it closed and since I had been partially involved in other projects with pages, I left steemit in the lurch. I worked in kolotibablo doing captchas and I used to earn 2-3$ a day and it might seem like a pittance, but in Venezuela that's what they pay a regular employee in 15 days of work (at a parallel dollar exchange rate).
So I have been since November 2017, in December I came to live in my mother's house and there is also one of my sisters with her 3 children, I came because in my house, in that sector there is a lot of insecurity and scares me with criminals, also to be able to dedicate more time to work on the Internet, be more relaxed, safe, and also close to my family that we help each other.
During that time he spent some time guiding other people who asked for help with a website and even guiding them so that they would not fall into the trap of a scammer when they exchanged what they earned on the Internet for local currency. I helped them out in facebook or telegram groups because I had already learned many things and I know what it is like to seek help and few or no one reaches out to you. While in one of the online help groups I met a Venezuelan girl ( @mayvil ) who was asking if there was anyone in that group who worked with steemit and that's where she guided me and refreshed the information on the platform.
From that moment on I haven't been on the platform for a month but every day I learn something about the platform, as I mentioned, I like to write blogs and it also has that foundation about blockchain that I like a lot because of all the things that cryptomittals involve, I am still learning details about how it works, the technical part, the human part that I think is the most valuable, because although there are those who are only interested in the interest of money, there are those who are also interested in us sharing.
At the moment I have neglected a little the work in the page with which I was working (the one of making captchas) and although my economic situation is still not the most favorable, I have dedicated some time to steemit because of the passion of everything I have been discovering and sharing here, the people who help you and those who also give them some knowledge, people who give you a value beyond a vote, a comment of encouragement and even a timely correction.
In fact when @juanmallorca told me about the "SteemSchools Ultimate Challenge" I understood that I should do 100 posts XD, and I told him I didn't want to be forced to write so much, I would write anything to meet the challenge by lowering the quality of the content of my publications, and although there are some that are simple,** I didn't want to do anything to get out of the way, but rather to have something good and positive, and why not, even entertaining.** I wish it could be more cost effective to continue writing and sharing quality content on this platform so I can devote full time to it and demonstrate all that I can give. Because in spite of all the setbacks and all the regrets I want to get ahead and keep fighting for my family and my country.
Thanks to all the people who develop projects that allow us to grow in steemit and make this platform great.
