Money is a crucial factor in our everyday lives. Almost everything we do requires money. Getting food to eat requires money, traveling requires money, education requires money. Money could arguably be the single most crucial resource.
Not having money is a limitation. You won't be able to do the things you want when you don't have the money for it.
When you have enough money, you have the freedom to go after what you want, do the things you want, and take more risks. It would be as if limitations are off.
If the finances where available, if money wasn't a problem, there are so many things I would do.
First, I would try to solve scarcity as much as I can. All over the world, one of the major problems people face, especially in third world countries is scarcity. Scarcity of food, scarcity of healthcare, scarcity of basic amenities. I would attempt to solve that. With unlimited amount of money, I would create organisations focused specifically on providing more of the scarce resources to the people who need them.
Let's take food for example. Reducing food scarcity across the globe would significantly reduce world hunger. This would cause a ripple effect as crime rates and mortality rates would decline.
Apart from food, I would try to make basic amenities easily available in places where it's needed. These are the things that people need on a daily basis to live a better quality of life. Education is another crucial thing I would like to solve. I would want education to be readily available to everyone who can't afford it. It would greatly improve society.
Another things I would do if money wasn't a problem would be to learn and solve things. For example, I would try to solve diseases. There are so many diseases out there that don't have a cure. Diseases that need better medications. Solving things like this, or attempting to solve them helps to improve humanity beyond our wildest imagination. Imagine the amount of lives that would be saved when we solve cancer. Imagine the way lives would be improved when neurodegenerative diseases that paralyze people get solved. I would love to dabble into something like, and having abundant wealth would aid that.
