Hello everyone!

Today I am going to share some pictures of Paris. I arrived in Paris by bus from Amsterdam. The bus trip costed me $30 which is too expensive actually but since it was almost New Year's Eve I could not find any cheaper option. The trip took around 8 hours, so if you think, it might be a good night trip, I suggest you to find a good company apart from eurolines. Some of us might have good experiences with eurolines, but my experience was challenging. AC in the bus was not working, and there was not any space between seats. I could not fit in my seat, even I am not tall. So I can suggest you to try to find a ticket from FlixBus. I believe FlixBus is way better.

Paris might be one of the biggest European cities. It is not easy to walk from one tourist attraction to another one but walking around streets of Paris is so much fun! I would not say that Paris is really different than other European cities, but there is a different atmosphere in Paris. Maybe I felt like this because it was New Year's Eve. Paris is like an unlimited city. There is history, art, architecture, delicious wines, delicious cheeses, sweets and so. You always can find some piece of whatever you are interested in.

You can take a cruise tour on the Seine River for $15 which is almost nothing for an hour cruise trip in Paris. I could not take the cruise tour since I could not find any tickets for that price but I bet the tour is amazing. I would recommend you to take the tour during night time. Paris has two faces as all the others cities have, and I like its night face with lights. The Seine River also gives you a chance to walk on the riverside and enjoy your time. It has more than 37 bridges in Paris, and for me, the most important things that are hosted by the Seine River are Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame de Paris also known as Notre-Dame Cathedral. I'd say that if you visit Paris, just do not skip those.

There is one old bookstore that I am in love with. I have been in love with second hand books and old bookstores but it is another story. Shakespare and Company is one of the oldest bookstores and one of the most famous ones. Shakespare and Company was also seen in the movies Before Sunset and Midnight in Paris. Shakespare and Company was opened in 1951 and was originally called "Le Mistral" but it was renamed to Shakespare and Company in 1964. Since I love old bookstores, I could not miss my chance to visit this one and I definitely suggest you to go there once if you like reading. It is 2 or 3 minutes from Notre Dame de Paris by foot.

After visiting Louvre Pyramid, you will find yourself in Jardin de Tuileries/Tuileries Garden where you can take a few breaths in nature. At the beginning of the park, you will see Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel that was built between 1806-1808 for Napoleon and his military victories. You also can find a ferris wheel in the middle of the park. I am going to end this post here with a picture of Tour Eiffel. I hope you enjoyed the post.
