Hello Guys!

Today, I am going to share some pictures of Antwerp. Antwerp was the last city of my Christmas trip in Belgium. I arrived in the city from Ghent. According to my trip plan, I was supposed to come to Antwerp from Bruges, but since I did not have any place to stay in Bruges, I had to go back to Ghent. My train trip from Ghent to Antwerp took 50 minutes and costed something like $7. It was my longest train trip in Belgium.

You can get to city center by foot. It takes about 25 minutes from the train station to city center. Once you arrive at the city center, you will see a big sculpture of a man throwing a hand. His name is Brabo. You might hear many mythes about it, but the most known one is that Brabo beat Antigoon who was a giant and charging people who were sailing in Schedlt River. The Brabo is located right in front of the City Hall. The City Hall is pretty old actually. It was built around 1560's in Gothic stlye.

I'm going to end this post with a picture I really like. I took this one at the Christmas Market of Antwerp last year, so I am not really sure if the sign is still there. I guess it was a commercial, so they might have removed it. I hope you enjoyed the post.
