Instead of telling you something FUN and UNIQUE about myself, and try to live up to the standards I would set for myself, I figured I'd rather just go with something that isn't unique or fun. So here we go...

I know, pretty lame joke. But during my first year at Western University, I introduced myself as 'Lo' at one of those silly freshman 'parties'. And it stuck. And sucked. Everyone sang that song by flo rida to me. And of course I would just dance along with them, regretting my fake name choice.
But honestly, if your name is Lo, PLEASE embrace it. Unlike me.
Well this is fun! Being slightly above average.
But now you know where I stand. I'm not going to try to be someone I am not. I've tried that; it doesn't work.... Well it does work, it's just super hard to maintain. So b yo self!

Let's get to straight to the point. My articles will mainly speak about mental health.
I will talk about my daily life, my struggles, my past, and everything about mental health. What helped me, what didn't help me? How I cope, how YOU cope. I hope this becomes interactive, where you feel comfortable commenting. I will ask you questions, and hopefully get a few responses! Let's create a community and be creative together.
And yes, I'm aware there are thousands of articles and blogs out there about mental health... That doesn't make me annoyed and bored, it makes me super excited!!!!
People need to know about mental health; whether we're talking about depression, bipolar disorder, or an eating disorder. We should be addressing these topics and try to help those who suffer. Because most of us have been there or have had friends and/or family there.
