Camping in Korea is a new thing, really. Ten years ago the term camping may not even have existed in the Korean vocabulary, at least not the way it is present now. Camping and the outdoors industry exploded about 10 years ago and anyone who led the trend in outdoor equipment found themselves in posession of what we could call new money.
