I welcome you to my blog. Sexual assault and harassment are slowly becoming normal in our society today. There were days when you could go months and even years before a single story about sexual harassment or assault hit the news, but lately, it occurs very often. Not just to adults and young adults, these people now prey on children too, who don't even know their left from their right. They take advantage of their lack of knowledge and wisdom to get what they want. The little ones are easy to deceive, so most of the time, people with those irritating mindsets go after them.
Some of the people who were victims of sexual harassment were properly dressed and fully covered. Their bodies were not exposed, but somehow, they still ended up on the list of those who have been sexually assaulted and harassed. Sometimes, even children who are not yet developed and are not sexually attractive in any way find themselves being sexually harassed and assaulted. In cases like this, I would say it is the mindset of the assaulter or abuser because how would a child who is not developed in any way be attractive to you to the point where you want to have things to do with them?
There are also some who put themselves on the list because of how they dress. When walking the street or scrolling through social media, there are some types of dressing you will see and wonder if there was any reason to put on the clothes in the first place. Some people put on clothes and at least 90% of their bodies are still exposed and very much visible to the public. If you want to come out naked, then I think you should do that rather than covering just 10% of your body parts and leaving the bigger portion exposed. Now, people who dress in this manner tend to trigger those with this irritating mindset, and they start to plan how to get what you are advertising or showing off.
In conclusion, I would say it mostly revolves around mindset because both those who dress in a certain way and expose their body parts and those who are properly dressed are all getting harassed. Those who don't dress properly call out and attract those with these mindsets to themselves, while those who are properly dressed or underdeveloped and still get such experiences tend to be very unlucky, and it is not something anyone should experience.
