I like a good quote. There simple and short but if said right leaves a powerful and lasting impact. Usually, when I come across a quote I like I will write it down somewhere where I can reread it later and ponder a deeper meaning.

There are three quotes pondering around in my head lately. I decided to share them here to jump-start someone's memory in remembering a quote of there own.

I'll start out with my current favorite..

"Wisdom is to avoid stumbling into ditches." - Jordan Peterson

What better way to point out the importance of learning and applying the lessons to our lives.

"(Modern) man can't see God because he doesn't look low enough" - Carl Jung

This reminds me of Michelangelo Buonarroti, the renaissance artist of late 1400. he purposely denied himself a life of luxury in order to live a life closer to God. He believed a true artist liked that way. (although parts of his life he truly was dirt poor)

"The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" - Proverbs 9:10

Fear is humbling, without it we take things for granted and seldom learn to walk with God.
