This past few weeks I've enjoyed not waking up early. For the reason that it is school break! Yahoo! What more can a mom like me ask for but hours of sleep, right? 😁 Except of course if we need to go somewhere and the need to arise early is required. But for now, still enjoying it but not until the last week of this month. The new school year will be starting!

So why am I talking about that? 😁 Well, in fact, this blog is about "What's for breakfast?" Waking up early or late is connected with Breakfast! Me and my girls usually have something light in the morning. Like bread, pancake, oatmeal, paired with a hot or cold milk or chocolate drink.

This one is Pandesal and hot chocolate made of Tableya (pure unsweetened cocoa) locally made.

This one is oatmeal with homemade granula.

Banana pancakes, one of my children's favorite.

When I'm in the mood for cooking in the morning I cook Rice, sometimes fried rice with eggs, hotdogs, sausages and etc. Eggs can be boiled, scrambled, sunny side up, or omelet. The food I prepare in the morning will depend on my mood or the availability of ingredients in the pantry.

Rice, egg, meat loaf, fried smoked fish, with banana and hot chocolate made of Tableya.

At times we also have Taho! Soft tofu with caramelized sugar and tapioca pearls! We are Taho lovers! But this is just seldom. The Taho vendor doesn't come every day. Or maybe we are still asleep when he comes to our neighborhood. 😁

Tahoooooo! as the vendor yells. LOL

These are just a few of the photos of the food we have for breakfast. I won't be flooding this post with it. 😁

My husband, by the way, leaves early in the morning for work. He eats breakfast at the canteen at work. When it is his rest day, he usually cooks for the family. I am grateful! 😊

Filipino Breakfast : Tocino, scrambled eggs, fried eggplants, fried bananas, fried smoked fish, fried rice and fresh sliced tomatoes.

I guess that is all for breakfast! 😊 If you want to watch food videos and recipes, you can check my YouTube Channel or my Facebook page.

Thank you for reading this far! Until next time! This is my entry for this week's Asean Hive Community Challenge #70.

xoxo,

Met
