Two years ago when the pandemic started, my family and I also started our very own vegetable garden. I had several post about it here before. This is my first time to post in the HiveGarden Community. The lockdown has taught my family to grow our own food in our own simple way. We may not have much harvest, but having grown such edible plants gave us the satisfaction that it is possible to grow such vegetables in a very limited space at home.
Tomatoes. That my aloe vera plant at the back.
Cucumbers now with flowers.
Kangkong or water spinach.
We also have here the existing plants which were in our garden for several months now or even a year or more.
Mint
Chives.
Basil.
Bell peppers, lemon grass, aloe vera.
These are our lemon plants and eggplants. Can you see the eggplants? 🙂 I harvested two this morning.
Seeing these plants grow gives me joy. I spend time gardening to take a break of screen time. Away from my phone and computer doing a lot of stuff online.
I am looking forward to see cucumbers and tomatoes soon!! I'll give you an update when they do have fruits already.
Thank you for reaching this far and taking time to get to know our plants. 🙂
Until next time!
Love,
Met
