Another week, another cool looking can… Beersaturday always makes the beers one bit more enjoyable. I am really happy that the weather shows some sogns of summer vibes now and I can enjoy our home’s terrace now. We cleaned it thoroughly and got it ready for the season. I love to spend some time outside while the kids are taking their afternoon nap.
Although the Metalhead beers are almost all reviewed in the past weeks, there are a couple that haven’t been tasted yet. I think there won’t be any left qfter the next week, but if there’s one, I’ll be glad to try it.
Thoday we got the Turbo Lover that is a West Coast classical IPA. I can enjoy this design for a whole lot of a time. If you follow my posts, you will surely see the diversity of cool looking labels. And the turbo lover came with the motorbike, of course! He has to be cool, huh?
Although today os raining again, it’s already wuite warm and pleasant on the retrace. The clouds even give the opportunity for dramatic HDR photos! This will break the streak of my indoor photos on the table and give some extra life to my posts.
As I mentioned, the Turbo Lover is a West coast IPA, so I expect a relatively more clear beer in my glass. Let’s see if that’s the case.
Yup, it is! It is not clear as filtered lagers, but definitely brilliantly looking and shining in the light. Color again looks great! No sign of oxidation, which is greatly appreciated in the world of heavily hopped beers. The head looks amazing, quite long lasting.
The beer tastes quite dry and this is what I expected. It reminded me of the IPA of Stone brewery, that I had about 5 or 6 years ago. It was the greatest IPA that I have ever had and I still remember the excitement it brought to me. And this one is really close. Hoppy, citrussy and very dry… Dry… this was the quality that I seek in every West Coast IPA and one that almost no IPA ever has. Quite a rare thing nowadays.
I don’t lnow how, but these guys from Burgas managed to build a great variety of different beers and each one of them feels just perfect. They have atyle, they have knowledge and they have good brewing equipment in their brewery. All these factors give these beers their amazing flavor and the Turbo Lover looks cool as hell!
And while I am finishing my beer, it starts raining again. Big, round drops start to wet the tiles. The smell of rain blends perfectly with the one of citrus hops and keeps my spirits high. All I have to do is watch and enjoy the views outside.
Well, that’s for today! See you soon and have a prosperous new week. Cheers and have fun!
Bye!
