It’s all over. Our summer family vacation is officially over (almost two weeks ago) so it is time to see where we enjoyed our best summer time.
Half a year back, in January, we booked our summer vacation. We needed an Ultra All Inclussive hotel, because being with 3 kids means we have no time for prepring meal, no time for waiting the food and we need everything to be arranged for us. Any other scenario would mean that the vacation will not be a relaxing time at all…
So we picked the VOYA Beach Resort for some reasons. First of all it checks the UAI box. Secondly, it was completed about exactly one year ago, in the mid July last year, so it is brand new. And last, but not least, it looked stunning and cost us about $250 per night, everything included - meals, drinks, hotel and whtever you can think of…
So let’s see how the real journey began.
I managed to fit all the baggage in half of the trunk. We needed the third second row seat for my wife, to keep an eye on the baby, so the VIP seat on the third row of my SUV was reserved for the big brother. Of course we needed to pur some of the baggage on the passenger’s seat, but it was not that much. We needed to have a quick stop for a dialer change, some sandwiches and basic WC needs. I have to say that we reached the hotel in a relatively calm manner, having in mind the three little beasts.
We needed about three hours to reach our tatget, including the quick pitstop, and the hotel finally appeared in front of us. The first impressions were surpassinf our expectations, but our vacation was still at its beginning.
The area in front of the main entrance is very… glamorous, and it prepared us for the architectural perfection. The hotel looks as modern as it can be and the lobby area shines.
While the piccolo arranges our baggage, we have time to peacefully arrange our stay on the reception area… of course with 3 kids you cannot actually enjoy something peacefully, but the inclusion of a welcome drink definitely was something we did not expect at all. And guess wht! Our three kids received a little welcome gifts too! The little thinks always do matter!
The lobby area is built perfectly! It consists of a two storey area with high ceilings. This opens up a lot of room and looks stunningly great. A creative steel-woodden staircase links the two levels and was a great place for some photos.
And although our room was on the same floor with the lobby (it was still two floors higher than the inner area of the complex), we noticed the modern space decorations around the elevators… And there were a lot of them! About 10 of which I can think of. This creates a lot of convenience when going around the facilities and especially when going to the restaurant and the pool area.
We have been to many hotels that feature a lot fewer elevators and waiting is sometimes killing us. The kids sub-5-years-old are not famous as the most calm and peacwful human beings when waiting… 😁
Walking towards our room we passed via one of the closed connecting corridors that give an easy access between the 7 hotel blocks. And, well… as we expected from a 1 year old hotel… everything is perfectly new and clean.
We finally reached our room! We booked one of the relatively bit bigger family rooms with sea view, of course! We are on a seaside vacation and we need to see the Black sea from the terrace. This was something that we always opted for, if having the option. There are of course room without sea view. They were a relatively cheaper option, and I think they will fit good for people that want to be a bit away from the daytime pool area noises.
The room was relatively 40 sq. meters which was more than enough for two additional baby cubs and one sofa sleeping kid. The interior was modern, just like the whole hotel conception and design. We were impressed with all the doors. All of them, including the WC room were flush and built in the surroinding walls. Only the handles showed us that there were actually some doors around.
The toilet and the shower area were combined, but still separated with a glass. And well, the exceptional cleanliness was what impressed us the most, and the sleek design of course!
The terrace was relatively small, but featured an incognito spce, not connected with the neighbouring ones, and the views towards the sea were aweseome. This was the place we spent all our evenings, after the kids went to bed.
The inner yard, although not as big as some competitive Ultra All Inclussive complexes, was more than enough for the kids to run around and spend some of their extra energy at. And I have to say that I have never seen so many cleaning machines going around almost constantly, without rest at all. Every tile had to be clean as new.
And when the night falls it is time for some great photos. I am really lucky that the kids left me to shoot a bit, so I was able to keep the memories about this place and show them to you.
The overal weather was on our side, and although some cloud appearances and quick showers from time to time, it was warm enough to enjoy all of our vacation family time. The clouds really help for achieving some great photos too!
So… Let’s stop here with the basic information about the VOYA Beach Resort and its design. I am planning of writing another one, that focuses more around the facilities and the staff.
