রেমাক্রিতে টুরিস্টদের জন্য একটা কটেজ আছে। খাবারের ব্যবস্থাও তারাই করে দেয়। সেখানে রাতটা কাটিয়ে পরদিন সকালে গাইডের সাথে রেমাক্রি খাল ধরে হাটা ধরলাম নাফাখুম জলপ্রপাত দেখার জন্য। এক দেড় ঘন্টা হেটেই পেয়ে যাই

পদ্মাপাড়ের মৈনট ঘাট ঢাকার নবাবগঞ্জ থেকে আসা একটি রাস্তা সোজা গিয়ে ইতি টেনেছে দোহারের মৈনট ঘাটে। এখানে এসে সড়কটির দুই পাশের চর দেখে অনেকেরই ভুল মনে হতে পারে। এটি কী নদীর চর, নাকি সমুদ্রের কোনো বেলাভূমি!

নারগিসপাঠ প্রসঙ্গে টানা দুইদিন পড়ে নারগিস উপন্যাসটি শেষ করা হল। বহুদিন পর একটি উপন্যাসকে এ টানা সময় দিতে হল। দিতে হল বললে ভুল হবে, উপন্যাসটিই নিয়ে নিল। বন্ধুরা বলে, কমলকুমারে আমি আমার রুচি নষ্ট করেছি।
