Today is the one special day you can go outside. I realize many have been locked up for a long time and Kiki and Koko Koala would agree. Kiki has a special gift for Koko.
I have been looking for a very simple character for a while. I like Koalas because they have a big nose and so do I. It's not clear to me the best way to draw any character but I'm looking for simple.
I used the basic shapes from a drawing program and sketched in the other parts. I use a tablet and a drawing pen but when I hook them up to Krita it lags too much so I use a simple windows program.
Over time I'd like to work more with Krita in coloring but I'm on a really slow learning curve. I just want to make comics that work even if they are artistically incomplete.
The point is that it's not garbage and the weather is nice so go out and dump the garbage if you haven't done anything else today.
