The most part of my life, I have lived in the northern part of the country. My choice of place I will like to visit may partly be because of the desire to change weather, explore new cultures.
Sometimes ago, my uncle was transferred from the north to akwa-ibom state, eket precisely. It was during his stay over there that I visited him over there. I enjoyed myself, ranging from the weather, culture and their lifestyle. The north is always hot, going to akwa-ibom state is somewhere I will visit again. Their weather is one thing that I like most about the place, the chill weather through out the year is one reason I will like to visit there. They are friendly people. Very accommodating. I was surprise at the warm acceptance they gave me, considering the fact that am from the north. This is one thing that is not common in other states of the federation.
Before I went there for the first time, I have heard how their women are wonderful cooks and Also beautiful. That was a fact I confirmed for myself when I went there. Beauty is a magnet, the beauty of their ladies and environment is something I will like behold again. What will a person want more, when in one place he can have the enjoyment of life in that same place. That is, good food, beautiful ladies, and good environment, that are sure blend I will like to enjoy at one place.
Speaking of their lifestyle, I think almost everyone including the women drinks palm wine, every compound have palm tree where they harvest palm wine, it was usually the drink they gulp in while sitting in the evening chatting away time. And there is this fascinating thing about their elderly women. They always neat, and they seem not to accept the fact that they are old, so they dress like young ladies. You will see a grandma with makeup, lip stick, wig and on a tight jeans. I like that about akwa-ibom people, and for that reason I will like to visit there again and again.
