Christmas tress is one luxury people in the villages don't get to see in my country. But they sure know how to improvise to get what they want to see.
I was at the barber's shop yesterday, hanging on the door post and the wall inside the shop were disco light. And the rattling from the speakers of radios were Christmas songs. One need not guess to know that, this is Christmas season.

The merriment in the church today sure remind us of the joy that comes with Christmas season. Even though this is just the first week of Christmas. The joy and anticipation Can be clearly seen from the children. In the church today, few children were already wearing glasses that blinks colours of light. I know by next week, the number of children with the glasses will increase.
Shalom, the niece of ours will regularly sneak into his mother's room and wear the Christmas clothes that are bought for him. Those clothes are like Christmas gift to him, that will only be open on the Christmas day for the seeing of the world. The longing for the Christmas day to come for them to wear their new clothes is beautiful.
Like I said earlier, to improvise among children in the villages that couldn't afford the luxury of some items, is a thing of creativity. Children seem to understand the play or game that suit each season. At this period of the year, children make kites, because the breeze at this period is mild and smooth that allows the successful floating of the kites. Likewise, children improvise the making of wooden fire works during Christmas period by calving wood with a space where matches powder is grinded inside of it, that can be triggered by heating the matches powder that is grinded inside a pipe to provide the bagger sound that we get from fire works.
I hope am able to give few sensory atmosphere of the happening at this season of Christmas in place to you.
