Hello friends feathered lovers, if blue is your favorite color today I bring it to you in this beautiful bird.
Azulejos or blue sparrows, are the most common birds in T谩chira State, Venezuela, region where I grew up. When I was a child every house had these birds in cages, something I hate now that I am an adult.
I took these photos in December when I traveled to visit my family. This little fellow perched on the branch of a tree near where I was sitting talking with the family, at that moment I stopped the conversation to run to get my camera.
Not everyone understands the thrill of photographing a bird, but I still didn't mind the criticism. I picked up my camera and took a few shots, I think these are the best.
The photo session didn't last long as these little ones don't stay in one place for long.
I wanted to make an oil painting with one of them, of course with photoshop, I would love to draw someday, for now, I just take pictures.
