Today I got my packs from the Weekend Ranked and want to share the results with you.
I did 18/25, which rewarded me 10 packs.
8 from WR:
- 2x DO rare
- 1x DO epic
- 1x DO leg
- 2x Core rare
- 1x Core epic
- 1x Core leg
Plus 2 from leveling:
- 1x Core rare
- 1x Core leg
But before we jump at the results, I came up with a way to set a price for the plain cards from core packs. Since half of the prize are Core packs.
The core set cards are crafted from 2x plain copies + some $GODS, depending on the rarity of the card forged. To craft a rare Marsh Walker, for instance, we need 2x plain Marsh Walkers and 0.3 $GODS.
Thus, it's possible to evaluate the price for a plain copy as:
plain price = (meteorite market price - $GODS cost to forge)/2
In the case of the Marsh Walker, its floor price is $0.47 and the token rate is $1.08/$GODS, which give us:
plain price = (0.47 - 0.3 * 1.08)/2 = $0.07
I used this approach to price every card I got from the Core packs. It can even be negative, if the cost of $GODS to forge is greater than the card's price in the market.
