I thought it was too late
But my tomatoes are finally coming in.
I’ve been staring at green tomatoes for a while now. But I finally have some red appearing on the mostly leafless bushes.
Of all my veggies, these are among the last to ripen for picking. The only remaining plants to provide me with a meal are the broccoli and broad beans.
Everything else has given me a feed. Even my green beans have produced a nice little crop.
I have been battling the bugs though. There have been cauliflower moths and aphids causing some frustration in the garden. The aphids received a nice dose of soapy water today which is a nice and simple way to deal with them. Hopefully we see them never return.
