In the past post, my husband and I reviewed Bukit Lawang Baths, in today's post I will tell you about a unique place to eat around Bukit Lawang Baths.
When we saw this place for the first time, we thought it was a Cave, and just a cave with nothing inside. And it turns out we were wrong.
This place is called 'CAVE ROCK CAFE'. When we took photos at this place, this place was still closed because it was still too early. This cafe opens around 12.00 WIB. In this place you will not feel bored, while waiting for the menu that you have ordered. You can take pictures with interesting spots at Cave Rock Cafe,
In this cafe, you can see the carvings in the cave that are naturally formed from nature, not made by human hands. Because in the cave there is no sunlight, so the manager installed big lights to illuminate the ceiling of the cave.
We can find interesting cave carvings along the cave passage which is visible from the back. Meanwhile, if we look from the front of this cafe, it looks like most cafes with slogans that are thick with young people who adorn every cafe wall, seating for visitors is made lesehan, with wooden pillars painted brown which adds to the natural impression and tends to modern. When visiting this cafe there is no charge whatsoever. You can also take pictures in this place as much as you like without ordering any menu. But rest assured if you come to this cafe you will feel at home for a long time here, making personal documentation or documentation for the public interest, or scientific work tirelessly walking in the middle of the forest to reach the cave.
Not only that, when you look in front of this cafe you will be immediately served by the crystal clear and cool river water. As well as the monkeys that still feel comfortable hanging there, the cool shady trees, the clean and slightly modified cave in front of the cafe, I think this is the perfect combination.
This place is highly recommended if you visit the Bukit Lawang area, while enjoying the existing menu, surfing the virtual world with the provided wifi, and enjoying the carvings of God who created this cave so beautifully.
