What a perfect afternoon we had!
No rain, not too hot, just the right temperature to walk around and enjoy the fresh air.
It felt so nice to be outside.
We had a few errands to run, like grabbing dinner, picking up some snacks, and doing a little grocery shopping.
First stop was to buy our dinner. I spotted one of my favorites. It's the chicken on bamboo sticks. 🤤
Have you tried this before? It’s a little firmer than regular chicken, but so tasty. I just love the smoky, grilled flavor of it.
We got a few sticks to bring home.
Also, as we were already there at the night market, we grabbed some snacks too.
My kids absolutely love kwek-kwek, so of course I bought some. 😋
We enjoyed it while walking around...
After that, we then headed to do some groceries.
We picked up food we needed at home, plus some biscuits and yummy cupcakes for Ryzen to bring to school.
He was, of course, so happy when he saw those cupcakes.
Once we got home, I remembered that Ryzen’s teacher told him to practice tracing his name. So, I made some tracing sheets for him, and he sat down and started right away. 🥹
He really loves doing activities like this... so focused and eager to finish. 😍
When it was done, we got our dinner ready.
We ate the delicious smoky chicken we bought earlier, and I also cooked some tokwa that we’ve been craving. We just dipped it in soy sauce with a little sugar… and our cravings were totally satisfied. 😍
Until my next afternoon...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
