There lived an herbalist in a town called Okpo. He was known for his magical powers and healing. One day baba was just at his shrine when his head started feeling itchy. Baba as a strong man in the community declined visiting the hospital as he claimed it was a spiritual attack and he was going to heal himself since he had powers.
Though the whole villagers believed it could be possible, they all waited in awe too hear the news of him healing himself. Few days later, baba went to the stream all the villagers come to bath, swim and fetch water for different purposes to wash himself. This was how baba started problem in the community. This itching later developed into measles but he didn't know what it was at he thought it was just rashes.
But long prime in the village started experiencing same thing baba experienced. Little did they know it was spread by baba when he went to the stream to wash himself. Soon the story had it that the gods were angry with them and had decided to punish them.
