Hidden Figures, a movie to honor

Dear Community of #CineTV Today, it is International Women's Day, which better chance to share a film that has deeply inspired me "Hidden Figures. "It is a film that was released in 2016, and tells us a real story that deeply celebrates the power and resilience of women in a world that had relegated them to the background without compassion.

From the hand of its director Theodore Melfi who also collaborated in the script with Alisson Schroeder we will enter a story that focuses on three incredible African -American mathematics: Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson, they worked in NASA during the difficult time of the 60s. The flm let us to know about all the injustices that they faced in an environment not only dominated by men but also by racial segregation.What really struck me with "hidden talents" was how these women, despite the barriers that were presented to them, which are narrated in the movie, clearly found a way to shine.They left traces in history.

Katherine Johnson, masterfully performed by Taraji P. Henson, is the true heart of the film. her ability to calculate hand flight trajectories was amazing. Every time I saw how she struggled to be recognized in her work, I felt a mixture of admiration and sadness.I wondered how many bright minds have remained in the shade due to social prejudices and limitations?

Dorothy Vaughan, played by Octavia Spencer, taught me about the importance of leadership and adaptability. Her decision to learn to program computers when no one believed that a woman could do so was an act of brave innovation. And then there is Mary Jackson, played by Janelle Monáe, whose determination to become an engineer and break the racial and gender barriers left me speechless.
These counted now may seem common, easy to achieve, I may tell you and think what important this has in a world where women are aircraft, senators, presidents of some nation.

That is the achievement of "hidden Figures" is more than a film; It is a tribute to all the women who have fought and continue to fight for equality in all areas.On this International Women's Day, I feel even more motivated by the stories of these brave women.

Honoring every cell today, and recognizing the woman I am, closes cycles of disconnection and little flexibility body _mind, attachment and control cycles. Since we are born, we transit the way into learning of patterns and social constructions, canon, absurd classifications that cancel our own nature and identity.The worst, we learn the role of choosing others rather than ourselves.

I learned that in this movie that I present to you today.
These three women remind us that, despite the obstacles, each of us can make a difference and that it is essential to continue fighting for a more equitable and fair world. Don't you miss it!

Querida comunidad de #CineTV. Hoy, es e día Internacional de la Mujer, que mejor oportunidad para compartirles una película que me ha inspirado hondamente "Talentos Ocultos". Es una película que fue estrenada en 2016, y nos cuenta una historia real que celebra profundamnete el poder y la resiliencia de las mujeres en un mundo que las habia relegado a un segundo plano sin compasión.

De la mano de su director Theodore Melfi quien también colaboró en el guión junto a Alisson Schroeder nos adentraremos en una historia que se centra en tres increíbles matemáticas afroamericanas: Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan y Mary Jackson, ellas, trabajaron en la NASA durante la difícil época de los años 60. Algo que me gusta mucho de este film es que nos deja ver los desafíos y las injusticias que enfrentaron en un entorno no solo dominado por hombres sino también por la segregación racial. Lo que realmente me impactó de "Talentos Ocultos" fue cómo estas mujeres, a pesar de las barreras que se les presentaban, las cuales son narradas en la película claramente encontraron la manera de brillar. Ellas dejaron huellas en la historia.

Katherine Johnson, interpretada magistralmente por Taraji P. Henson, es el verdadero corazón de la película. Su capacidad para calcular trayectorias de vuelo a mano es asombrosa. Cada vez que veía cómo luchaba por ser reconocida en su trabajo, sentía una mezcla de admiración y tristeza. Me pregunté cuántas mentes brillantes han permanecido en la sombra debido a prejuicios y limitaciones sociales?

Dorothy Vaughan, interpretada por Octavia Spencer, me enseñó sobre la importancia del liderazgo y la adaptabilidad. Su decisión de aprender a programar computadoras cuando nadie creía que una mujer podría hacerlo fue un acto de valiente innovación. Y luego está Mary Jackson, interpretada por Janelle Monáe, cuya determinación para convertirse en ingeniera y romper las barreras raciales y de género me dejó sin palabras.
Estas cosa contadas ahora pueden parecer comunes, fáciles de lograr, puede que yo te las cuente y pienses qué de importante tiene esto en un mundo donde las mujeres son aeronautas, senadoras, presidentas de alguna nación.

He ahí el logro de "Talentos Ocultos" es más que una película; es un homenaje a todas las mujeres que han luchado y continúan luchando por la igualdad en todos los ámbitos. En este Día Internacional de la Mujer, me siento aún más motivada por las historias de estas valientes mujeres.

Honrar cada célula hoy, y reconocer a la mujer que soy, cierra ciclos de desconexión y de poca flexibilidad cuerpo _mente, ciclos de apego y control. Desde que nacemos, trasitamos el camino en aprendizajes de patrones y construcciones sociales, canon, clasificaciones absurdas que anulan nuestra propia naturaleza e identidad. Lo peor, aprendemos el rol de elegir a otros antes que a nosotras mismas.

Eso lo aprendí en esta película que hoy les presento.
Esas tres mujeres nos recuerdan que, a pesar de los obstáculos, cada uno de nosotros puede marcar una diferencia y que es esencial seguir luchando por un mundo más equitativo y justo. ¡No se la pierdan!
