Hoy les quiero mostrar, un ícono arquitectónico de mi pueblo, el obelisco de Barquisimeto, encajado en el oeste de la ciudad, su construcción data de 1952, para celebrar los 400 años de la ciudad.
Con una altura de 70 metros, y un mirador de 360°, el obelisco es un ícono arquitectónico, que se encuentra en el centro de un distribuidor, que une cuatro (4) avenidas, es el sitio ideal para pasar una tarde crepuscular en mi ciudad.
Con áreas recreativas, deportivas y culturales puedes disfrutar las tardes y fines de semanas, de obras de teatro, bailó terapia y actividades deportivas, lo hacen un centro a de esparcimiento en el oeste de la ciudad.
Si eres más atrevido, puedes lanzarte un aventón, por los poza manos de las escaleras de el obelisco, los cuales son de concreto y tienen un ancho de aproximadamente 1,50 metros y unos 4 metros de altura, pero cuidado que si te caes, el accidente podría ser fatal.
Con clases de telas, dibujo y teatro al aire libre es un sitio ideal para los niños, mientras los más grandes pueden hacer deporte.

Today I want to show you an architectural icon of my town, the obelisk of Barquisimeto, located in the west of the city, its construction dates back to 1952, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the city.
With a height of 70 metres, and a 360° viewpoint, the obelisk is an architectural icon, located in the centre of a distributor, which joins four (4) avenues, it is the ideal place to spend a twilight afternoon in my city.
With recreational, sporting and cultural areas you can enjoy the evenings and weekends, theatre plays, dance therapy and sporting activities, making it a centre for recreation in the west of the city.
If you're more adventurous, you can take a ride down the obelisk's concrete stairwells, which are about 1.50 metres wide and about 4 metres high, but beware that if you fall, the accident could be fatal.
With classes in weaving, drawing and open-air theatre, it is an ideal place for children, while the older ones can play sports.
