This water fountain is situated in Uyo, Akwa Ibom - A roundabout located in Nwaniba road. I had the experience of shooting it during the day time and at night.
During the day, the light goes off but the water keeps flowing - though sometimes, it does stop. I believe it is computerized and has a control unit.
When the light comes up in the evening, it has different colors ranging from blue to red. They change with every blink of an eye. You can see that in the pictures below.
The roundabout is actually a busy area with some sculpural artworks at the extrem side of it.
On the right side of the road, traders come out in the evening to sell their goods such as fruits and suya. There is also a big screen at the road side that displays at night.
You can find a sit out there too - a lot of people come out to watch traffic, gist and receive cool breeze from nature.
