After my previous drawing, Journey to the Cross, where Christ was scourge, thoroughly beaten and given a heavy cross to carry, I made a new sketch of him. This time, he is on the cross of Calvary. At present, he is not yet dead but exhausted and looking up as though he wants to call upon the Lord.
